Description

Built for George L. Batchelder of Boston, Massachusetts, Dorello II was one of the two founders of the yachting Class M - 46 raters. The other was William Gardiner's Medora. In 1923, Dorello was re-rigged as a yawl.

'Dorello' is a composite of the names of Batchelder's three daughters: Dorothy, Eleanor, and Louise.
