Original Caption: "As usual the Stein-on-the-Table Banquet concluded events of Alumni Day, 1950, and again, as usual, the highly prized souvenir steins were designed by Henry B. Kane, '24. But the locale of the banquet was the Copley Plaza where 800 Alumni gave many a rousing cheer. Seated at the banquet table, in usual order, are: Hugh S. Ferguson, '23, Professor Emeritus George E. Russell, John A. Lunn, '17, Rudolf F. Haffenreffer, '95, Andrew Heiskell, Charles E. Smith, '00, Thomas C. Desmond, '09, Karl T. Compton, and C. Adrian Sawyer, Jr., '02.
