Description

From volume 2 of Plans of wooden vessels selected as types : from one hundred and fifty of various kinds and descriptions, from a fishing smack to the largest clipper ships and vessels of war, both sail and steam, built by Wm. H. Webb, in the City of New York, from the year 1840 to the year 1869.

Body plan, sheer plan with hull arrangement, half-breadth plan

Built for the New York, Liverpool and London trade, was considered an excellent type of ships for that buisness, proved a fair sailor and good sea boat. Gave general satisfaction. Fraft of water when lanched, forward 9ft. 7in. aft. 10ft. with all masts standing, yards on deck, one anchor and chain on board.
