Description

This instrument is a brown and white computer. It was a 16-bit general-purpose digital minicomputer, and was one of two data machines for Project Intrex (INformation TRansfer EXperiments), a series of experimental programs designed to use computers in the library system. Using a time-sharing system with remote access terminals that connected to an IBM 7094, users could browse the library’s catalog and bring up images of microfilmed articles.
