The B-52 was designed by Boeing in 1948, and entered production in 1952. This model was made by the Allyn Sales Company, which made metal promotional sales models and model kits for many American aerospace companies. This particular model was given to the State Street Bank and Trust Company by Boeing on September 24, 1953.
