"The 250-foot tall office building is one of three related mid-rise towers joining the historic World Trade Center Pier Building on the South Boston waterfront.

The design includes an underground parking facility and a low-rise podium structure with two glass and steel pavilions providing for a café and daycare center as well as a fan shaped public park, restaurants and shops overlooking the waterfront. Between the tower and the low building, a grand staircase with the sculpture of a sea serpent descends to connect World Center Avenue with Seaport Boulevard.

The distinctive curve of the west façade inflects towards the harbor and opens up views to the waterfront.

The form, language and materials of the building relate to the maritime character of the site. The weighty masonry, substantial cornice and protective canopies recall the adjacent warehouses and pier buildings, while the steel construction and wind mitigation “sails” of the lower building refer to the ships, cranes and bridges of the harbor."
