Alicia Crothers, AIA, LEED AP, Associate Principal

Ms. Crothers received her Bachelors in Architecture from Cornell University in 1982. Her thesis project received the Goodwin Sands Memorial Medal for honors design thesis. In 1982 Ms. Crothers received the A. Henry Detwieler Fellowship providing her with the opportunity to work for UNESCO for eight weeks at The Citadelle, Cap Haitian, Haiti, surveying and preparing measured drawings of the Governor’s Palace, a small residence within the historic fortification.

Before joining KMW, Ms. Crothers worked in Luzern Switzerland with Raeber & Seiber Architects, 1985-1987, and received honorable mention for the Lowenplatz Panorama and Cultural Museum Competition, Luzern Switzerland. In addition Ms. Crothers worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, San Francisco, CA, 1982-1985. Ms. Crothers holds architectural registration in Massachusetts.

Ms. Crothers has been with the firm for 19 years and she was named an associate of KMW in 2001.

Ms. Crothers joined KMW in 1987 and was named an Associate in 2000. Working closely with principals, consultants, and our clients, in her current role as Senior Designer and Project Manager for a variety of academic, and government projects, including:
