This item is a standard metal door hinge and 12 screws.

In the late 1950s, the door that led to 4-273 was repainted with a sign proclaiming it to be the Department of Alchemy. After some renovations, that door was moved to Random Hall. In the early 1980s, the Department of Alchemy reappeared, this time on the door of 2-214. In 1984, this hinge was removed from the door.
